I am very excited to announce that I have moved into a new studio!
After much hard work, it is now time to take that next step of my art career. I am very excited about this new adventure. I have a beautiful space to work in, with an amazing gallery downstairs to display my artwork with other talented artists as myself.

Black Spot Gallery and Studios

(Off Watt rd)
Mornington, VIC 3931
Australia

Spacious contemporary gallery with all original artwork on exhibition and sale.
If you’re lucky, I may even be upstairs in my studio creating, or book an appointment with me to see my original artworks in person.

Hello to all my new watchers and friends.

As you all have noticed, I have been enjoying life drawing, even though I get a lot of eyebrow raises to what I am doing. lol
I don't care, I am enjoying myself, and have even made a few sales!  :D   I am especially enjoying all the colours to do with pastels. Getting into life drawing, I had to do much research on what papers to use for what I do, and as we artists know, that it part of the creative process and can be tons of fun. I have even branched out into what I call the "big heads" "faces", and using bold vibrant colours with them. Needless to say, all these colours have me itching to get back into painting!!!
So I hope to get back into it and have some new works for you all to enjoy soon.

I had a bit of a health issue the past few months, but the doctor says things are looking good and I am back to my weekly walks with my camera! Yes, I hope to get some time in and get those images up as well for those who love my urban photography. I have plenty to do, so please be patient and check back soon.

Many thanks to all for your support in my work, and the shares in collections, I do greatly appreciate it.

Wishing everyone here a festive holiday season with family, friends, and good food!

Keep creating!!

Busy, busy BEE!

2 min read
THANK YOU so much for the wonderful birthday wishes, what a great surprise and welcome back!

I took a mini road trip with my camera, and have just been over the top busy. No excuses though!
I am back in the studio and have plenty to edit through to see if what looked good on the back of the camera, looks good on the screen. hahahaha

I also have a photography exhibition running the month of June, and have approved proofs for my pages of representation in two art books, also have several canvas(s) to get set up... I am inspired and ready to go!

And if I didn't take enough fun photos, I also visited my favourite marina stomping grounds to find even more gems through the lens of my camera.

As you will see in my gallery, I have kept up with my life drawing group. Has been great fun and I am very excited to report that I sold one right as I posted it to my instagram account. YAY!! As I know most of you will appreciate, it was a great sale paying me back for the art supplies I had just put into starting pastel drawing, with a wonderful $8.25 profit. hahahahahaha

I just finished posting the many works I have done, so please enjoy and thank you all so much for sticking around and sharing your wonderful works with me as well!

Keep creating my friends!!

Hello, for anyone who has been wondering "Where the heck did Sabina go?"  hehehe

I have been wicked busy in the studio coming up with new styles and ideas for paintings, also
walking about from one end to another here on the Mornington Peninsula with my camera. I cannot
get enough of this place, I am truly enjoying my surroundings and allowing the colours and textures
of the area I live in inspire me.

We also had a visit from what has turned to be our local seal near Dromana Beach. I can sit and just watch
him sunbath for at least two hours while taking pictures of the beach boxes near him. It is amazing to see
one in person, compared to seeing them on the TV.

I also started a Life Drawing class last Wednesday. Yes, me, an abstract artist in a Life Drawing class.
Boy, did I get some looks for my work. hahahahaha
You know you are in the wrong place when you are attacking the paper "making noise" and others around you are lining
up the model with their thumb to get the right dimensions. ( BIG GRIN )
I have never done a class like this before, I have gone to a few fellow artist's classes, just for inspiration and
more so to be social. I am EXTREMELY happy with what I created, and that is looks like a woman.
Yes, I will be posting that image soon as well.
I will also, after having a great time overall in the class, being extremely excited by what I created, and the
amazing response from it as well on my Facebook and Instagram page. I will be continuing this class! It is on Wednesday, overlooking
one of many beaches I enjoy walking along, and I truly feel it will push my creativity.

I have plenty to upload, and will get to that asap!

I hope everyone is well and has been creative in their own right as well.

The weather has been fabulous, so you know what that means for me, plenty of walks with my camera.

I have also been taking a few trips to the local post office to send out sketches sold, and am very excited to announce that
I have sold two paintings direct via my website as well! THANK YOU so very much to those who are already using my store
tab and buying direct from me!!
Right now I am in the process of adding my recent captures to my website for sale, these images are not only sold as products
but as a print and/or canvas print as well.
As for art shows, I have five artworks in the Peninsula Proud show at Cube 37 in Frankston, VIC, which is part of the Midsumma
festivities this year and will run until 7, Feb, and another at Quadrant Gallery in Hawthorn, VIC which ends this Saturday 31, Jan at 2pm.

With all that said, I am hoping to wrap this week up with framing of a sketch, collecting more canvas, and finishing the two works
which are on the easels now.

Keep moving forward!
